A historical account of King Fernando IV (1285-1312), who initiated the reconquest of Granada against the Moors. Fernando IV was the son of Sancho IV, el Bravo, and the grandson of Alfonso X, el Sabio. It is possible that this text originally formed part of a manuscript consisting of all three chronicles, Crónica de Alfonso X, Crónica de Sancho IV, and Crónica de Alfonso XI, which tended to be copied together.
